Friday, 4^th

Still a bit in flux, but there may be an opportunity for a ride from the dealership at 5/5:30 ish to their hotel in Hereford, Premier Inn at Holmer. I’ll advise nearer the time on the chapter WhatsApp.

Saturday 5^th

From 10:00 Meet at the Premier Inn Holmer, Holmer Road, Hereford, HR4 9RS

10.30   Rideout to Abergavenny via Kington and back via Elam valley

Should be there for fish and chips on the sea front about 12:30/ 1.00 depending on a coffee stop on route. Back in Hereford 4:30/ 5:00 ish

6:30 Cathedral tour for those who’d like it.

From 7:00 barbecue at the Palace, Hereford

To get to the Palace, put in the post code for the Green Dragon Hotel, 44-46 Broad Street, Hereford HR4 9BG. Once you pass it on your right, keep going straight on past the cathedral on your left. The road then turns sharp right.  You keep going straight over the cobbled bit and through the arch.  It says private but its not for this occasion. There is plenty of parking in the courtyard.

If you want to camp, there’s plenty of space in the garden and also parking for RVs in the courtyard unless you’ve got a monster American one. It would be helpful if you didn’t arrive before 5:00 on Friday so the office staff can all go home and leave the spaces. Let me know on WhatsApp if you’d like to camp or park overnight on the Friday and Saturday.  We can probably box bikes in for secure parking. Volunteers to help set up for the barbie gratefully received.
